We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated ER Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced, high-energy emergency room team.
As a part of our medical staff, you will be an integral player in providing critical care to patients in our state-of-the-art emergency department.
You will work with a diverse patient population, treating a wide range of conditions and injuries, often in high-pressure situations.
Your role will be pivotal in delivering excellent patient outcomes and ensuring a high standard of care.
Responsibilities:
As an ER Registered Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:
1.
Providing immediate and effective medical care to patients, including triage, diagnosis, and treatment of various conditions and injuries.
2.
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
3.
Administering medication and performing procedures as ordered by physicians.
4.
Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical information, updating patient records as necessary.
5.
Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding their conditions, treatments, and recovery.
6.
Coordinating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, technicians, and specialists, to ensure seamless patient care.
7.
Maintaining a high level of knowledge regarding medical conditions, treatments, and procedures to provide accurate and effective care.
8.
Ensuring the emergency department is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
9.
Participating in ongoing professional development and training to stay current on the latest advancements in emergency medicine.
10.
Adhering to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as state and federal regulations for patient care and safety.
Qualifications:
To qualify for the ER Registered Nurse position, you must have:
1.
A valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
2.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in acute care, ER, or trauma nursing.
3.
A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
4.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
5.
Exceptional clinical skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
6.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical staff.
7.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick, accurate decisions under pressure.
8.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
9.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
10.
Physical stamina to work long hours and meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving patients.
